Company DescriptionSwissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property, catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations, and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.Job DescriptionAs a Sales Executive - Corporate & Long Stay, you will be responsible to provide professional and friendly service to all patrons and assist the Sales Team in achieving targets and generating sales for the property.What is in it for you:

    • Effectively manage own account portfolio and participate in all sales-related activities to sell all aspects of the hotel.
    • Handle issues regarding accounts/potential accounts mainly relating to Corporate and long stay accounts.
    • Develop new and maintain existing business accounts through preparation and execution of action plans.
    • Maintain contact with local business generators, meeting and convention planners, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, and other procedures closely.
    • Deal effectively with guests and colleagues from a variety of cultures.
    • Perform any other duties as required by Management.
    • Assist with any other sales and events support projects & duties as requested.Qualifications
      • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the Sales department is preferred.
      • Business degree or any relevant qualification would be advantageous.
      • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
      • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
      • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
      • Excellent grooming standards.
      • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
      • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
      • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
      • Additional language skills are an asset (Arabic, Russian, French, Chinese---).Visa requirements:Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.
