Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements --- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts --- Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership --- Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teamsSkills Required:--- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations --- Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers --- Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset --- Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies --- Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively --- Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from othersSkills Preferred:N/AExperience Required:--- 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience --- Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook --- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekendsExperience Preferred:--- Safety and quality experience --- Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified --- Knowledge of constraint management principles --- Prior experience managing a unionized workforceEducation Required:High School DiplomaEducation Preferred:Bachelor's DegreeAdditional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements:Additional Information :o Process Coaches must be able to work all 3 crew patterns in the plant, which rotate every 3 months, as well as overtime as required. o There are occasional extra production shifts on the weekend and Process Coaches are assigned to support those, as needed. --- The 3-crew patterns are as follows which account for arriving - hour prior to the shift starting o A-Crew: Monday-Thursday 5/5:30am-4:30pm o B-Crew: Tuesday-Friday 5/5:30pm-4:30am o C-Crew: Friday/Saturday 5/5:30am-4:30pm AND Sunday/Monday 5/5:30pm-4:30am --- It is important Process Coaches arrive before the production shifts begin on the crew assigned and remain afterwards to ensure employees are paid properly. --- There are times when the lines will run beyond the end of the shift.
