Job Description:
A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to provide support
to individuals experiencing emotional distress in a fully remote
setting.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with individuals over the phone, providing emotional support
and crisis intervention
Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation
and fostering client engagement
Provide resources and referrals, assisting callers in developing
coping strategies and safety plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or
university
Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social
Services
Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a
related behavioral healthcare field
Ability to maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace
Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and
weekends
