Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician - ABA to
perform reviews of member care and health status related to Applied
Behavioral Analysis services.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate member care and health status to ensure medical
appropriateness of ABA services
Perform prior authorization reviews to determine medical necessity
in accordance with ABA guidelines
Provide education to members and families regarding ABA and
behavioral health utilization processes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing school or Bachelor's degree with
2-4 years of related experience
Master's degree for behavioral health clinicians is required
Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health
Counselor, or equivalent is required
Behavioral health clinical knowledge and ability to assess ABA
Treatment Plans preferred
Experience working with providers and healthcare teams regarding
ABA services preferred
