Data Analyst Job in Chicago, IL
 
Our leading legal client located in downtown Chicago is currently seeking a Data Analyst for an exciting permanent opportunity.  My client offers excellent benefits and was named one of Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces 3 years in a row.
 
Specific duties and responsibilities of the Data Analyst job include:
•Assist in collecting and analyzing data from various sources including but not limited to Remedy, user data sources such as surveys, etc. to assist in understanding business and user needs.
•Analyze Service Desk tickets to identify trends and recommend action items to address new or ongoing issues.
•Produce a variety of reports that summarize and analyze data from Quarterly IT Surveys to assist in understanding user satisfaction.
•Develop usage reports on applications to assist in identifying underutilized applications or issues that may require attention.  Assist in the support of new and existing applications by providing analysis of usage.
•Produce analysis based on operational data to support processes and provide data for projects.
 
Minimum requirements and experience for this Data Analyst job are:
•Experience with windows compatible personal computers, and Microsoft Windows XP.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
•Strong communication skills with the demonstrated ability to develop reports that summarize a large quantity of data.
•Working knowledge of various data analysis tools.
•Prior law firm experience preferred.
