  • General Internal Medicine (F6/5) is a fast-paced medical unit that offers challenging and rewarding nursing opportunities.
  • We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional environment that fosters and values collaboration, respect, and education.

  • This is a 28-bed acute care unit focused on high-quality patient care and medical education. The unit is home to all three general medicine teaching services within the academic medical center.
  • F6/5 also provides specialty care to patients with infectious diseases as part of its Special Pathogens program.
    • Job Requirements
    • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
    • Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 hrs/wk, Night, 12 hr shifts, every other weekend rotation and some holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • General Internal Medicine (F6/5) is a medical unit.
        • Special Pathogens program specialty care is provided.
          • Additional Details
          • Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
          • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
          • Drivers License/State ID - Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions
