• Certification Details
• Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
• BLS & ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
• Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
  • Job Details
  • Seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to work on a recently renovated 12-bed neuroscience critical care unit with the opportunity to support both IMC and ICU level of care.
  • Care for adult patients with a variety of neurology, neurosurgical and stroke conditions that can include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, cerebral aneurysm, and other neurovascular diseases.
  • Utilize strong critical thinking skills and provide interventions that may include vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, feeding tubes, drains, frequent assessments, and more.
  • Work with a dynamic and supportive team of nurses that are an integral part of nationally recognized neuroscience programs committed to providing expert care.
    • Job Requirements
    • ICU experience required. Neurosurgery experience preferred.
    • Must be willing to work with ICU and IMC patient population.
    • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 hrs/week, Day/Night, 12 hr shifts, 7-1930; 19-0730; every other weekend.
        • Additional Details
        • Travelers are the first to float. May have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or different locations within the organization.
        • During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit.
        • Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite. Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.
