• Certification Details
• Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
• BLS and ACLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
• Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).

  • We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who:
  • Would like to be part of the team in a Magnet-- certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center.

  • Appreciates the autonomy and flexibility of working in a variety of critical care settings such as Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU.
  • Supports and/or engages in Shared Governance at University Hospital.
    • Job Requirements
    • Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
    • Floating - Travelers are the first to be floated. Must be willing to float and possibly have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
    • During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be reassigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
    • ICU experience with adult populations. Must be willing to work with IMC populations too.
    • Must have experience with multiple ICU units (transplant, neuro, trauma, etc)
    • Must have EPIC experience.
    • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 hrs/week, Evening/Night 8/12 Variable 8/12 hour shifts evening/night shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend between the hours 1900-0730.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
          • Additional Details
          • Current/valid Driver's License required if driving is a requirement of the position.
          • Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions
