Job Description:
A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to
enhance application security and support development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and maintaining application security tools
like SAST, DAST, and SCA
Collaborate with security and development teams to integrate
security controls into the development lifecycle
Participate in security and threat model reviews and support
compliance efforts for audits and customer requests
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in security engineering roles, with
exposure to threat modeling and security control implementation
A background in software development or a software
engineering-adjacent field
Understanding of roles within a security team and their
collaboration with development teams
Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or
government is a plus
Knowledge of compliance standards like HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI,
or FedRAMP is advantageous
